Meet Nanda Kishore, Delivery Head at Robosoft. Nanda joined our team as a QA professional on the New Year’s eve in 2002. Nanda fondly remembers that his induction happened during the New Year’s party :). Within 3-4 months of joining Nanda was leading a QA team for one of our global clients. Today, he leads several projects for global brands across sectors and geographies. From a QA professional to Delivery Head, it has been an amazing journey of 18 years for him. Nanda is a believer in simple living. He says 2020 has reinforced his belief in empathy, the value of sharing, and being grateful for what you have. He wears many hats in his life. He is a father, a Delivery Head, an experimental chef, a sports enthusiast, and an amateur singer. But of all the roles he plays in life, being a father is his favorite. In a recent interview, Daniel Carlascio, Director IT, United Wheels Inc., talked about how they developed a new IT strategy for the organization, re-built the infrastructure, and upgraded the core business applications. We worked on the project in two phases. In the first phase with UI/UX, we worked on back-end app development, adding features like trail finder, weather forecasting, and trail maps. In the second phase, we integrated group activities in the app.
Looking back, looking ahead 2020 has been tough on the entire world. All our lives have been disrupted in ways we never imagined and were unprepared for. My heart goes out to those families who lost their loved ones. I particularly feel for the underprivileged amongst us. In terms of positives, 2020 has forced us to re-think our priorities and value relationships, express gratitude, cherish new ways of learning, and achieve holistic personal growth. At Robosoft, we had our best-ever growth and almost doubled our employee strength in 2020. We worked with great clients, produced outstanding work that made a difference not only to their business but the daily lives of millions. My congratulations and gratitude to the team at Robosoft who made it happen - that too while working remotely. 2020 has forced enterprises to adopt digital even more consistently and at scale. In 2021, we see the acceleration continuing - particularly for financial services, media & entertainment and e-commerce.
