This week, our Atlanta office got a little louder. In the best way. We hosted students from Dubois Integrity Academy for ATL STEM Day — a full day of hands-on activities, real conversations, and a look inside what a STEM career can actually look like up close. Partnering with Geeks Rule and athenaGives on moments like this is a reminder of why expanding access to STEM education matters — not just for the students in the room, but for the field they'll one day shape. A special thank you to everyone helping bring the energy and making this a memorable day.
athenahealth was proud to celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day with the ALPFA Austin community at Poderosa Rising Together. It was an evening centered on connection, leadership, and the power of community. Thank you to the panelists who showed what “rising together” really looks like — through mentorship, resilience, and making space for others at the table. We are grateful for our athenaWomen and athenaComunidad colleagues, and everyone who helped make the evening possible. When women support women — and allies show up — we don’t just grow individually, we move the whole community forward.
We’re proud to be named one of Becker’s Top Places to Work in Healthcare for 2026. Behind every award is a culture — and ours is built on collaboration, growth, innovation, and people who genuinely care about the practices and patients we serve. As we continue to grow across engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, and more, moments like this remind us that our people are what make athenahealth such a special place to build a career. To every athenista: thank you for the passion, care, and teamwork you bring to athenahealth. Interested in joining us? We’re hiring. Open roles are in the comments.
athenahealth has been named one of Newsweek's America's Greatest Workplaces for Women for the second consecutive year! This reflects our commitment to create an inclusive workplace for women from diverse backgrounds and provide a supportive environment where they can thrive. One of the many ways we do this is through our athenaWomen ERG, which hosts events year-round and provides resources to support women in all stages of their career and life journey. Most importantly, this recognition reflects the people who help build that culture every day — supporting one another, creating opportunities, and lifting each other up.

This week, we had the chance to celebrate something special: the people behind a incredible year at athenahealth. From the 68 sales members who earned a place in our Executive Circle by crushing sales goals, to the business partners, creative geniuses, and initiative owners who helped drive results across the organization, the room reflected the depth and range of talent powering our growth. In all, 188 awards! Together, these teams supported practices of every size—from solo clinicians to large enterprise systems—and helped onboard thousands of new providers to the athenaOne network in 2025. That impact spans our award-winning all-in-one SaaS platform athenaOne, our high-performing RCM solution athenaIDX, and the day-to-day work of bringing smarter, more connected technology into real healthcare environments. It was energizing to pause, recognize the work behind the numbers, and look ahead to what’s next—including the continued rollout of AI-native capabilities built directly into athenaOne, available when customers are ready, without disruptive upgrades. Congratulations to all of our award recipients. Your work is shaping how care gets delivered—and scaled—across healthcare.
