Pros

Good hike, but because you get a hike, they give you 0% hike in the year of hiring, you get subsidized meals thrice a day.

Cons

Recommended - Strictly NO, ACS is the worst team Nature of job - glorified BPO, you answer emails and phone calls Type of support - Their product is a broken software with no user manual, developers don’t know what they developed Average work hours per day - 12-14, high pressure job Company attrition - Very high, caused by non structured work, resulting in unstable teams Knowledge retention - Non existent, because when someone leaves, they don’t document what they know Typical day - Queue flooded with tickets, complex in nature, some are urgent, You will not even get time to have proper lunch on most days. Training process - no structured training, you are just thrown in water with minimal training Process efficiency - Very poor, no SOP document You are dependent on others to help you, others are as clueless. And then you waste days and weeks to figure out what needs to be done. Work Life balance - extremely bad, you are asked to work on weekends with no comp off or allowance, people take sick leaves frequently. Project work - No scope as you will never get time from your BAU, they don’t even know what a Project really is. Scope to learn IT skills like Python / power BI - NO

Pros

BlackRock has been trying to set a culture and set of principles that are definitely something to look upto and be a part of.

Cons

1. Even though BlackRock as a firm is great, local culture within teams could influence your experience at workplace. For example, even though BlackRock promotes internal mobility, after delivering top quality work for 2 years when I cleared 10 interview rounds to join another team, my manager literally screw me over for selfish purposes. 2. Local Team Lead (who has nothing to do with my work) used to micro-manage and keep a record of my desk time. Not only that, he used to send disciplinary mails and share his records of my desk time with my managing director. That was literally pathetic!!

Pros

Good Facilities Good Brand Work life balance

Cons

Quality Engineering has unethical practices mainly due to the QE senior management. Would not recommend joining QE practice. Not a great place to be in particularly for fresh graduates. They would face lot of politics and favouritism. Many other practices in the firm have good work culture .
