Pros

That have some day shifts.

Cons

Very hectic job. Attrition is very high. Many team leaders their joined BA to utilise staff travel facility. Used them for getting UK Canada visa and left company many till today are trying. Calling Staff gets average salary of USD 430 a month or INR 35000. No free food no recreation environment. Typical call center. One has to be master of trade and have to take back to back calls 24X7 365 days. Job includes, customer service of any issue and sales target too. Achieving incentive is a tall task but you you really strech yourself can earn USD 75 extra a month. This job is worth USD 1219 or 1Lakh INR a month that you realise within 1month in joining. In reality you do job of atleast 2 British employees. A British employees earns GBP 5000 a month with tons of benefits and perks with guaranteed day job mostly 10AM till 5PM. An Indian worker is exploited to it's full extent not by BA but 4-5 Indian top officials in Call BA gurgaon

Pros

Transport...coworkers all well spoken and helpful..office location

Cons

I will begin from the interview, it went well till the final round. They asked me whether I have any questions to ask and I asked them about Call ba Gurgaon and asked him why one should join BA to which he started giving me information about British airways which was available on google. I told him I was looking for his own experiences and moved to the next question which was about my role in the company and job security. To which he informed me about the responsibilities and assured me of job security until and unless in case of any misconduct or underperformance.i was about to ask him the third question to which he stopped me and he said he is getting late and told me we are done for the day which came as surprise for me as they don't want to answer and I wanted to check to whether they are a good fit or not.i came out and they started laughing on my back. I was going through a tough time so I overlooked this and joined the company. Things were going well till Mar 22, 2020. The office was not operational and was planning to start operating on may 5 2020.i get a call from my manager on may 1st 2020 to check if I have a car or bike to commute as the company will not be able to provide transport services which they bragged about during the interview. Unfortunately, I am not from Delhi and I had no means of transport.on the 4th of may I get an email that management has decided that they do not need my services anymore and will be paying me 15days salary to survive during this crisis. I sent an email asking the reason for this step taken. I get a call from HR and all he did was repeatedly saying it is the management's decision without any reason. I asked him to reply the same to my email which he refused. I sent an email asking for the reason to my company, the two BMs, and even to the other higher management employees of the company but no one bothered to reply and were shying away. I checked with the consultant who referred me to join Call BA and he told me that he was warned by companies coordinate not to comment or they would cancel the license and contract with the Consultancy. I checked with my colleagues and got to know that from the batch of 5,3 employees were shown the way to door because all three could not commute to the office on their own and 2 were still there because they accepted their office to drive to office and back. The most childish thing the company could do is they did not mention my about my way of conduct on my relieving letter but it was present on the relieving letters of other 2 co-workers because I raised a question to the management. Regarding the work -most of the people are very helpful and well-spoken.training given was very good. The salary was ok...easy incentives and night allowance is an extra boost to work. Not a great place for a person if you are an introvert or speak less or mind your own business. You can't survive just by doing work no matter how good you are. Most of the managers (mostly males )have their favorites in the team mostly and they get all the privileges like preferred offs and more free times for chatting with each other, leave preference and the list goes on. Few support leaders would not even pick your call for any help even if the phone is ringing in front of them. Join only if this is your last resort.

Pros

Staff travel, privilege to work with a big brand that is recognised worldwide

Cons

Most of the lady trainers and senior lady supervisors, misuse their position and harrass other female employees. They don't give proper training and take pride in humiliating newly appointed employees. Training period was torture, nobody seemed to care, instead took part in the humiliation. British Airways being such a big brand, needs wise and open minded employees/trainers/ TL's and not narrow minded middle aged aunties. They are not doing their job properly and are abusing their position.
