Pros

Good pay, travel opportunities and some good peers

Cons

It's a mediocre product full of bugs, competing with SAP and other stalwart HRMS prods....it's like a boulevard player competing with Sachin Tendulkar... I'm not saying it's bad to aspire to be on top, but know your roots before you climb up, that will make you grounded. Darwinbox is way too far to reach the stalwarts. Don't believe the stories, step into reality!!!! Full-time politics. One must be an expert at flattering in case you want to survive here. The CTO is a monarch, who demands you to work even during a personal crisis, and doesn't even value your contribution. He disrespects everyone including the founders of the company. Even the founders are scared of him and his nature..there's no guarantee when he is in a good or bad mood. If he is annoyed, he might leave the company midway.. yes, he threatens the management that way. The founder leading the technical team is one person with a lot of head weight. He doesn’t listen to you….he mocks slow learners, only entertains who catches his level of intellect. I don’t really understand what his intellect is! If you aren’t respecting a person for what he is, no matter you are a founder, you still possess an IQ less than a piece of paper. The other two founders are okay. Except for business, they aren’t that useful to employees. They know everything, but what’s the use when they can’t address it? HR management is good in conducting activities but they have no voice. I bet no HR can come out and speak against the CTO. The employees stay only if the CTO likes them, else they straight away fire on your face saying your performance is bad. Such a pathetic company i tell you!!! And most importantly, there is no growth in this company. Once you step out, you'll not get any other opportunities... don't put your career at stake like I did....you deserve better. I recommend aspirants to talk to employees before joining here. Trust me, you will have no life here. All i wanna say is that, they don't really care about us!!

Pros

Nothing as such you can call Pro

Cons

1. HR policies are so bad that it feels like a hypocritical company operating in the HR space. An example of the same is - A resigning employee isn't entitled to take the accumulated leaves. The worst part is - they don't even reimburse for it. People resign only after consuming their leaves fully. 2. CTO behaves as if he's "Gunda of a village" threatening people left, right and centre. His code itself is buggy creating long-term problems for the team. 3. The culture is so bad - a senior executive 'proudly claims' that he's difficult to work with. Despite improving his attitude, he uses that as a leverage for bad treatments.
