      Good company, if you work on the right team - Senior Business Analyst Altus Group Employee Review

      Pros

      - interesting work for the most part - colleagues closest to me are very kind people with the exception of my manager - nice office space (Toronto) and the office is usually quiet - a good mix of older and younger people

      Cons

      Your experience is directly dependent on the manager you get in my opinion. My manager is a very unkind person who has been with this company for a long time and thus can do no wrong. I have had this person lose patience with me multiple times over something as a small as scrolling the wrong direction in an excel sheet. My manager also never complements my work, gives me feedback, or has regular check ins with me, so I don’t know if I am doing my best work or not, further adding anxiety. The saddest part is that people who have been on this team longer than I have seem to just accept this sub-par management style from our manager. I have colleagues on other teams working with more “modern style” managers and are having a much better time than me.

      Great benefits, flexible working conditions, co-workers were great, plenty of opportunities to grow

      Cons

      Seems to be selling off most of its divisions, raises and bonuses were disappointing/often below a cola even with high scoring reviews, concerns about frequent changes in senior leadership.
