Pros
The compensation is strong, and the learning curve is very steep - in a good way. You’re exposed to a lot very quickly, and you get to work with people from diverse professional backgrounds. This environment pushes you to build strong management and communication skills. If you’re in a sales-facing role, you also gain a deep understanding of business fundamentals in a very hands-on, practical way. I also found that, depending on the team, colleagues are quite supportive. The travel and allowance-related benefits were also very good during my time there. Overall, this is a great place for someone who thrives in high-intensity environments, enjoys steep learning curves, and is comfortable with fast pace and heavy deadlines. But it may be difficult to sustain if maintaining work-life balance is a priority.
Cons
However, work-life balance is a significant challenge. Long hours and overtime are the norm, and raising concerns about workload can be difficult. The hierarchy can feel rigid, and in sales especially, targets are often very top-down and can feel unrealistic without much room for discussion. This can create sustained pressure.
