      Pros

      Working in finance is brilliant! Really feel like I stretched my understanding of the world of trading.

      Cons

      The technology is really bad. So many meetings and everyone is obsessed with pointless details. It was so hard to get even the simplest things done. No one seems to have any interest in actually getting anything released

      Pros

      The industry is good, and the back office and middle office teams are brilliant. I have never encountered a team that understand pricing, risk and technology quite so well. They're supported by a brilliant team producing an in house risk analysis tool, full of super smart people.

      Cons

      The product technology (the team that make the app and website) are absolutely useless. The team is run by a guy in India who is really good at saying yes, and really bad at getting things actually done. Thankfully, management are losing patience and I have high hopes that they'll just ditch all the useless tech and start over.
