Pros

Usual one which every company is providing to their employees.

Cons

1) There will be no work life balance. Project leads and manager wants you to work for more then 12 hours, this is not only for specific team but mostly for all. Now it becomes a trend in the company specially for Pune (India) location. Even if you are done with your work your manager will call you after 8:00 PM for some ad-hoc call with US team (at least 3 days a week). 2) You might have got a job description before joining the company, trust me, all those job descriptions are fake one. After joining you will end up getting some irrelevant work. 3) Recently managers started doing micromanagement, like you need to tell team leads that you have started your day on team's channels.

Thank you for your review. The last year during the pandemic has been quite challenging for everyone. With clients shifting to more remote work environments the project opportunities increased and we've been doing our best to meet the demand which, at times, has required additional hours from our team. With Emtec's own shift to remote work for our associate's safety during the pandemic, our management teams increased communications with their project teams to maintain as much day-to-day project normalcy as possible and ensure their team members well being. It sounds like this has been too much in your opinion. We have an open-door policy, where our leadership team (including our CEO) encourages direct communications on any concerns or suggestions. We also have an anonymous feedback request option that associates can utilize at any time. We urge you to reach out to our Executive Leadership or HR team to address your concerns if you are not comfortable speaking to your direct manager.

Pros

I love the people I work with. I’m constantly learning with every project, and I feel appreciated for my skills and talents. My boss is awesome and gives me a lot of freedom. He's friendly, open, honest, and a great mentor. I think he believes in my abilities more than I sometimes do, which pushes me to take on challenges that help me grow and be a valuable asset to the company. Our team is made up of generally happy people, which makes even the tough jobs feel manageable. I’ve also never worked on a brand I wasn’t excited about, which keeps the work feeling meaningful and fun.

Cons

- The emphasis on time tracking/timesheets creates constant stress around balancing billability and over-logging hours. - My role and responsibilities have grown but my compensation hasn't changed much over the last several years. - No bonuses.

Pros

Decent pay, good people, and remote company.

Cons

Layoffs about every 3 months. Leadership doesn’t disclose. You’ll be looking to reach out to someone about a project and find out they’re not even there anymore. Leadership and management provide little to no training/information yet expect you to perform as if you did. It’s actually very strange. Promotions only given to offshore team members. No culture - the culture is getting the company more money. Poor change management process, yet lots of changes.
