Pros

Nothing I can think of.

Cons

Come only if you don't have a personal life. You need to work till late every day, no matter what. I found a very toxic culture. Older employees are expecting that everyone should know everything after 15 days of joining. They will assign you a task and they want it completed on time, they don't care if you are facing any issue or you are stuck. They will say "you are still working on this" on a very harsh tone and one point you will feel disappointed on you and you will start doubting yourself. If you are stuck and ask for help they will escalate against you. No matter how hard you are trying to get the job done. If you don't have a life, then join this. They want all the task should be done today only.

Thank you for your review. This past year during the pandemic has been quite challenging for everyone. Working from home may not be ideal for everyone and we understand that. For those who cannot complete their typical tasks during the day, they may choose to work some evening hours. Dependent on the project you are working, the workday may be structured to start later (IST) and overlap with N. American client hours but this will vary project to project. We encourage associates to collaborate with their team members and if you are new to a project you can reach out to your manager or HR team for assistance in connecting with other colleagues with a similar skillset. With our open-door communication policy, we encourage you to reach out to anyone at any level within the company with any suggestions or concerns. Alternatively, you can contact HR-India@emtecinc.com to assist.

No Work life Balance

Pros

Usual one which every company is providing to their employees.

Cons

1) There will be no work life balance. Project leads and manager wants you to work for more then 12 hours, this is not only for specific team but mostly for all. Now it becomes a trend in the company specially for Pune (India) location. Even if you are done with your work your manager will call you after 8:00 PM for some ad-hoc call with US team (at least 3 days a week). 2) You might have got a job description before joining the company, trust me, all those job descriptions are fake one. After joining you will end up getting some irrelevant work. 3) Recently managers started doing micromanagement, like you need to tell team leads that you have started your day on team's channels.

Thank you for your review. The last year during the pandemic has been quite challenging for everyone. With clients shifting to more remote work environments the project opportunities increased and we've been doing our best to meet the demand which, at times, has required additional hours from our team. With Emtec's own shift to remote work for our associate's safety during the pandemic, our management teams increased communications with their project teams to maintain as much day-to-day project normalcy as possible and ensure their team members well being. It sounds like this has been too much in your opinion. We have an open-door policy, where our leadership team (including our CEO) encourages direct communications on any concerns or suggestions. We also have an anonymous feedback request option that associates can utilize at any time. We urge you to reach out to our Executive Leadership or HR team to address your concerns if you are not comfortable speaking to your direct manager.

Pros

1 . Latest Tech and tools

Cons

1. No work life balance 2. Immature leads 3. People are there since inception of the company at director level feel that they know everything but in reality are living in a shell 4. Managers will throw team members under the bus in front of clients 5. Weekend work without pay or comp off 6. They will say that they care about employees but in reality they don't. DU leaders know everything but still keep mum, infact most of the times they are the real culprits. 7. No process or SDLC, everything is on priority 8. Manager won't shy away from demeaning team members 9. Totally immature and inexperienced product management team. They are staying in the same company from decades and know nothing about the oustide world 10. Managers behave like dictators if you raise yours concern you will be thrown out 11. Manager will call at odd hours and weekends also on public holidays 12. Planning process and requirements is a myth here

The work that we deliver for our clients is important, time sensitive, and impactful to their business and end customers. Our work matters and there is often pressure to meet tight deadlines. Having said this, it is equally important for Bridgenext managers to communicate effectively, clearly identify work expectations and provide professional and constructive performance feedback. We value the experience and knowledge that our long serving employees have gained over the many years that they have worked with us. We are also interested in creating a work environment where all of our employees can do their best work. If any employee is aware of something that does not meet this standard, we encourage that employee to reach out to the HR team so we can address the situation.
