Working here was an interesting experience. I found it to be very challenging for several reasons: 1. There doesn't seem to be any investment in employees if you're not high enough up the ladder. I found that there was no real career path available. I understand that that is not a requirement for any company, but if you're just starting out in the industry and you'd like to learn more and grow, you might want to look elsewhere. 2. Management can conflict each other with their directives sometimes. This occasionally makes for a confusing environment. For example, a schedule was set in place for attending conferences for the year. This was approved, and acted upon, and then subsequently cancelled two months later by a different member of management. Management also tends not to value employee feedback. For example, disregarding solutions presented because 3. I can't speak for all departments, but in mine there was a definite vibe of a "boy's club." I would hear some fairly far right leaning opinions voiced and talked about openly, along with easily disproven conspiracy theories and treating "The Secret" as factual. There was some subtle misogyny - for example, management claiming outright that they were only hiring women for marketing roles. Very subtle implication. Also, referring to women as "that girl", "this girl", diminutive. One of the most accomplished women in the field was often referred to this way, not in open forum, but in smaller calls. I will say it was not everyone, but it was definitely people of influence. This was not the culture for me. There are more reasons why I left, but these should provide a good summary.

We appreciate the succinct feedback provided. At Fulcrum Digital we believe that Employee Engagement is based on mutual trust, integrity and two-way communication and commitment between Fulcrum Digital and its associates. There is a periodic communication of the leadership at multiple levels with the employees using different modes of communication like newsletters, mails, fireside chats, townhalls and the likes. As an equitable employer we believe in respecting and catering to the unique needs, perspectives, and potential of all our employees. We work towards the achievement of the goals that we have set for ourselves as a company in the different segments including gender diversity at all levels/departments to fulfill true diversity and inclusion in the workplace, both in thoughts and in action. Any form of discrimination or harassment at the workplace is prohibited, and we do have appropriate grievance handling mechanisms instituted as per the law of the land to address them in case of a complaint in this regard. An Individual Career Development Plan (ICDP) is created for every employee across levels in consultation with managers which are reviewed, feedback provided, and course correction applied on a quarterly basis. The primary purpose of an organization wide ICDP is to improve the current job performance and help the employees achieve their short/long term goals. Capability development is initiated at a strategic level to complement and supplement the required capabilities for existing and new accounts. Professional skill enhancements are also provided in technology and domain by way of certification as per our ‘certification policy’.
