Cons
Being an ex employee of schbang mumbai, it’s an utter disappointment and shame to say that I looked forward to working here and expected a great growth opportunity in the company. Since I’ve heard only good things and it being such a well known and reputed agency in mumbai. Sadly the reality I faced here is far from the picture perfect agency life anyone expects here. Its a culture of do or die, literally. Once you start working here you don’t have a life of your own. There is no work life balance obviously being an agency that’s a given. But they exploit you to a point where you literally fall sick from all the overworking yet have to bear nothing but criticism despite slogging your life off for the clients and bringing money on their table. You are a slave to your seniors constant criticism and extremely pampered clients. The treatment given to juniors and new recruits, especially those with little to no experience in the vague job role obviously includes function beyond the scope of work, yet they are so designated to fulfill, is mind boggling and disturbing to a degree, where the mental stress faced is no less than than abuse and torture. They make you overwork and stress you out to the point that you have no life except work and make you feel like you aren’t capable of doing your job although you know you are. They manipulate you and make you a scapegoat after treating you terribly and then finally threaten to remove you on grounds of incompetency without specifying any reason or giving any training. Forget providing any help, instead they create unnecessary complications and issues internally just so they can have a scapegoat whom they can terminate on the grounds of incompetency instead of ever helping, guiding, fairly treating or appreciating the current employees that they have. It’s a disturbingly toxic company Causing unnecessary distress especially during this stressful pandemic and needs to be shut down permanently basis treating their employees like slaves, just to have them thrown out like they meant nothing. I’m glad I left it before I lost my mind.
