Pros

- Big brands to work on - Company name can look good on resume

Cons

- Toxic Work Environment. Overtime is like an expectation at this place. - They have recently shifted to a 4 day work from office policy. The founder itself doesn't show up so how can they expect their employees to come from Dombivli and Virar to come to work almost every day. - No appreciation. People work overtime and give their 100% to work but they are not appreciated but their shortcomings are highlighted more - if you are a fresher thinking working with bigger brands can help you. These people don't take your learning and career growth seriously, they just dump work on you and expect you to complete it without even monitoring you. - the work environment is so depressing that it landed multiple people in my team in therapy - they are quick to pay cut if you're late but never acknowledge the countless overtime and weekends you worked on - Being a designer at Schbang is most people's fear, we are treated literally like donkeys, all the work is given to us last minute and we are expected to work till late. - if the design is well then solutions take the credit for it, the designers are not given enough credit. - they couldn't even afford good laptops to give to their employees, we had to argue for the same. - No fun HR activity, it's almost like any other corporate, doesn't give off a creative agency vibe. - No travel, mental health, dental, food card allowance, no perk.

Pros

The fancy office aesthetics and canteen

Cons

Being an ex employee of schbang mumbai, it’s an utter disappointment and shame to say that I looked forward to working here and expected a great growth opportunity in the company. Since I’ve heard only good things and it being such a well known and reputed agency in mumbai. Sadly the reality I faced here is far from the picture perfect agency life anyone expects here. Its a culture of do or die, literally. Once you start working here you don’t have a life of your own. There is no work life balance obviously being an agency that’s a given. But they exploit you to a point where you literally fall sick from all the overworking yet have to bear nothing but criticism despite slogging your life off for the clients and bringing money on their table. You are a slave to your seniors constant criticism and extremely pampered clients. The treatment given to juniors and new recruits, especially those with little to no experience in the vague job role obviously includes function beyond the scope of work, yet they are so designated to fulfill, is mind boggling and disturbing to a degree, where the mental stress faced is no less than than abuse and torture. They make you overwork and stress you out to the point that you have no life except work and make you feel like you aren’t capable of doing your job although you know you are. They manipulate you and make you a scapegoat after treating you terribly and then finally threaten to remove you on grounds of incompetency without specifying any reason or giving any training. Forget providing any help, instead they create unnecessary complications and issues internally just so they can have a scapegoat whom they can terminate on the grounds of incompetency instead of ever helping, guiding, fairly treating or appreciating the current employees that they have. It’s a disturbingly toxic company Causing unnecessary distress especially during this stressful pandemic and needs to be shut down permanently basis treating their employees like slaves, just to have them thrown out like they meant nothing. I’m glad I left it before I lost my mind.

Pros

Office interiors Office location Good Brands in the clientele Well experienced top management.

Cons

1. No Proper company policies in place. 2. No fixed timings. I've seen people work till 4 am in the morning and no overtime is paid even in such cases. 3. Cheap quality laptops are given to the employees. 4. NO JOB GUARANTEE. Any random morning they fire employees without giving a proper explanation. 5. Less pay compared to the industry average. It's pretty good for freshers but very bad for experienced. 6. No employee motivation activities. 7. Though I'm a local guy, The HR team at Schbang treats outsiders very badly.

Thanks for your feedback. It would be truly appreciated if this feedback was shared with us in person as it would help clarify things better and of course not mislead those reading this. Nonetheless, we'd like to put it out there that we're a young growing agency and we hire talent that shares our vision. If you want to grow, you've got to work hard, and of course the smart ones balance things just fine. Those who are willing to do the same certainly see the benefits of working with us. We do not believe in firing employees, and in fact go out of our way to give every one a fair chance. After which if an employee is asked to leave, he/she is given very specific feedback by their supervisors and the HR team. This situation has thankfully appeared only two or three times. Schbang is known for its culture, which includes creating a fabulous work environment, fostering growth, employee appreciation and recognition, etc. We didn't happen to win Culture Awards just like that. Additionally, we've always had a lot of hires from across different cities who move in to Mumbai or Bangalore to work with us. Our idea has always been to have a multi-cultural team and for our HR team every person is the same, irrespective of where they live or where they have worked.
