Pros

Amazing work life balance as there is barely work as Senior leadership is busy in playing what they call as value streams which are ever changing. Colleagues and managers are great.

Cons

Everything about this place is piece of an experiment which seems to be forever long process. H&M had gone through 2 major re-orgs in last 2 years, and senior leader are the one who are calling for shots which impact the people who are working day-in day-out slogging there hours. I feel being part of this org was the biggest mistake of my career, people are getting demoted instead of promoted yes you read that right, if you're aspiring young enthusiasts my advise is to stay away from this immature organisation which they so call as #theplacetobe

Pros

Great place if you aren't ambitious and are looking for an easy 8 to 5 job

Cons

- Below market benchmark salaries for locals and outrageous benefits for expats - Weak talent pool which results in a few bearing the burden of the others in the team - Meetings have no agenda and run late majority of the times - Employees are promoted purely on the basis of "loyalty" (time spent in the company) rather than performance or achievements - Most of the function heads are extremely poor leaders since they've been put in those positions not because of their qualifications but number of years spent working for the organisation
