Pros

Learnings. As it is a product based company, you can learn a lot.

Cons

1.) Job Security. If you are directly working with onsite people, then your job is at at most risk. Myself worked with onsite folks having 20-30 years of experience. No matter how you perform, they never get satisfied due to huge experience difference. Hence, they ask you to leave. 2.) No Team work Again, if you are working directly with onsite people, they is no concept of team work. You wont get any support from, them no concept of KT, and at the same time, they expect you to deliver on time. Those people have been woking in the same company for the last 15-20 years and they expect the new joiners to work similar to them. If you dont (ofcourse you cant, to be practical. No concept of KTs, no team work and still they expect 8 years exp person to work like a 30 years exp person), then they fire. I have seen firing 3-4 new joiners because of performance. To be honest, It was not performance. It was lack of "Common Sense" from onsite folks.

Pros

1. Driving skillset has improved as travelling through most congested areas of pune 4days a week. 2. You will get to know SDLC process in action. 3. Good insurance benefit 4. Account and IT dept is good. nice people.

Cons

Unfortunately cons list is 2x then pros list . 1. Toxicity injected from higher management . Indian management sitting right on top have no clues how to improve efficiency of engineers are forcing employees to come to office and expects engineers to show up middle of the night as well. Once I have really felt for this org . Now all emotions are gone. there was a time , I used to listen townhall till midnight because that leadership was so good , you can keep of listening to them. they were fantastic really. Now because of higher management all managers have become toxic. 2. Although I got 3% appraisal , some people got 1% even after all the hard work. 3. Management thinks engineers are labor. 4. All good perks and benefits are almost revoked in the name of budget cut. 5. Budget cuts are that bad , admins now mix water in hadwash liquids in washrooms. No quarterly team outing . 6. Company is secretly tracking hours in office and forcing employees to stay back 7. Company fired US employees with 1 day notice. I feel for them.If company can fire in US , Indian employees are also not safe. Fearful and worrying employee env management has created over the past 2 years. 8. Management openly exploits employees asking them to do overtime at middle of the night if appraisal is required for next year. 9. HR dept is not independent. They listen to what managers tell them. Employee's opinion does not matter to them.

Pros

Just product based company, you have to join

Cons

Work culture is not good. There will be alot of pressure, you should not ask any questions, but you have to finish work in time. There expectation is to work 24/7 you have code.
