MHFAs are employees of Akamai who have completed specialized training to be a point of contact for individuals experiencing mental health issues or emotional distress. While they are not therapists or psychiatrists, they can provide initial support and guide individuals toward appropriate help. ๐ค MHFAs are also mental health advocates and serve as a positive example of approaching conversations about mental health with Akamites.
