Continuing our stride in building a diverse and inclusive talent in the organization, last week, we launched the 'ROAR AHEAD' program. As part of this program, 25 women colleagues at the mid-management level (Band 3, 3A) will go through a curated program to identify and break self-created stereotypes and biases, and grow in their individual and professional journeys. The curated program involves 6 themes that have been globally researched and found to be areas that women have self-biases on:- 1. Born to please 2. Job Vs Career 3. The Superwoman myth 4. Building vs. overvaluing expertise 5. The Perfectionist trap 6. Harnessing emotions and feelings This is a journey of self-discovery and introspection, transforming self-limiting beliefs to empowering beliefs. We wish the participants the very best for as they ROAR AHEAD!! #YouAreTheDifference #Diversity #Inclusion #WomenEmpowerment #BreakingBarriers We thank our external #DiversityAndInclusion partner Sneh Sharma, Founder, Vividhta (www.vividhta.in) for facilitating this program.

Inclusion is not a choice. Inclusion is the essence of any people centric organization. With the same intent in mind, we at Max Life Insurance, took another step towards sensitizing our employees through our very first virtual in-house module on ?Leading with Inclusion?. The module was focused on the discussing the impact of #inclusion on the organization?s culture & business; creating awareness about ?Unconscious Biases? that each of us has, and, ways to overcome & avoid biases while making decisions. The session witnessed some insightful discussions about uncovering our own biases and taking on from there. The session ended with commitments from each of the participant to be inclusive. #diversity #inclusion #culture #equalopportunity #YouAreTheDifference
We had our first ever digital CSR volunteering activity last Friday, 14th Aug, with school children from the NGO- Purkal Youth Development Society, Dehradun. Max India Foundation has been associated with the NGO for many years now and supports its cause of holistic educational development of children. The virtual learning session on "Environment Protection? was attended by over 80 students in the age group of 12-16 yrs, and covered topics ranging from tree plantations, water conservation to sustainable development. A big heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, esp. Anurag Chauhan, Amit Wadhwa and M Mariyam for leading this and having such an interactive session with the children on the importance of tree plantation and water conservation! The feedback from children made evident the extent to which they enjoyed it. Looking forward to many more such sessions. #BeyondBusiness #YouAreTheDifference #CSR Disclaimer: https://bit.ly/3blOIPQ ARN: 140820/SM/CSR
There is a considerable gender gap, globally, when it comes to women in leadership positions. We as an organisation have been actively working towards making our workplace more diverse & inclusive. And one of the integral elements of our Diversity & Inclusion roadmap is, CATALYST ? Women Leadership Program. The program entails a 9-month holistic journey of self-development through sustainable interventions ? workplace projects, mentoring sessions by senior leaders, experiential learning and deeper insights into business management. In its pilot run earlier last fiscal, CATALYST had been instrumental in giving the right opportunity to a select set of our women employees, giving them a platform to evolve, learn and unleash their potential as individuals. And now, as we take this program at the organisation level, we are excited about the potential we will be unleashing as aspiring women are enabled to achieve remarkable goals. Arise & Shine, be the CATALYST of change! #MorePowerToWomen #Diversity&Inclusion #YouAreTheDifference
