We recently hosted the Get Sporty Throwball (Women) and Volleyball (Men) Tournament on March 2nd, 2024, at our Airoli Campus, organized by the Mumbai Sports Committee part of the Center Heads Organization. The event saw a turnout of 22 volleyball and 8 throwball teams competing. Inaugurated by Sandeep Jain, Director - GABL PBS. NCE.SCE & ISS, the tournament showcased remarkable agility, teamwork, and sportsmanship, culminating in the celebration of winners, runners-up, and best players across categories. Our India CSR team ran a dedicated fundraising campaign through WeKare that raised a significant contribution from our colleagues to aid and support the victims of Cyclone Michaung. In Chennai, our volunteers orchestrated an impactful event through our ENLIGHT initiative in Avadi, bringing people together for the final phase of Cyclone Michaung and Flood Relief support. The dynamic collaboration of leaders, volunteers, and Aide et Action, our NGO partner, facilitated the distribution of crucial relief materials to affected families. The event went beyond flood relief and incorporated an informative session for parents, alongside digitalization awareness and career guidance for children, intending to equip families for a resilient future. #CSR #ChennaiFloodRelief
In our bid to reduce landfill pollution and manage marine waste at the source, we organized a Beach Clean-up Drive, in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), for the local communities of Prabhadevi.
