In an effort to #GoGreen, we recently distributed organic compost from our very own vermicompost plant at the Talwade campus in Pune. Vermicompost involves the use of earthworms to recycle food scraps and other organic material into a nutrient-rich soil treatment. We have our little earthworm friends to thank! Capgemini recently organized the ‘Daan Utsav’, a fundraising activity in collaboration with WeKare- our employee-driven NGO, at our Mumbai campus to promote the message of social good. This initiative aimed at providing academic and life necessities to underprivileged children, such as nutritional food, sanitation kit, stationery kit, school uniforms, first-aid kit, school bags, and much more, helps them to get the future they want. We also raised funds for a good cause by organizing fun activities like games, food stalls, and other booths.
