Impact Together Month is a significant period for Capgemini as our colleagues come together and contribute towards causes that help shape positive futures. In India, we celebrated this in October-November by organizing a variety of volunteering activities, for all of us to come together and contribute to our communities. We are proud to share that over 300 Capgemini volunteers, 500 external beneficiaries and a number of our clients and partners actively participated to create a significant amount of impact! We believe in creating equal opportunities and positive futures for the underprivileged and differently-abled members of society. In this Impact Together Month, Capgemini FS CSR along with our NGO partner Youth4Jobs organized a Leadership Connect for differently abled students at Chennai, who are already part of the Capgemini-sponsored training program. Our Capgemini Leadership team Allen Gilbert, EVP, Global Head, BCM; Dhinakar Selwyn, VP, Global Head, Foundational Technologies Practice; Joseph Jeyan, Senior Director, Delivery Head, BCM and Prakash, Lead, FS ASCEND addressed the students to build up the self-confidence of the students. At Capgemini, celebrating the values of team spirit and fun shares the same merit as the achievement of our long-term goals. In light of this commitment, 'Get Sporty', the pan-India sports campaign led by the Fun Office and the Center Heads Organization, has organized selection trials for the Tennis Ball Cricket, Women's Throwball, and Mixed Doubles Badminton city teams across our centers. Over 9500+ aspiring players registered for the tryouts, out of which the selected city teams will be traveling for the grand finale that will take place in 3 different cities. Through this event, several 'early stage' and 'growth stage' enterprise SaaS Companies have been shortlisted by our jury team for the opportunity to undergo an intensive 12-month program that will give them the support to develop world-class innovations with proven methodologies.
