A defining moment for Indian rugby! The U20 Women’s team clinched the bronze medal at the Asia Rugby Emirates U20 Championship 2025 in Rajgir, Bihar, with impressive victories over Kazakhstan, UAE, and Uzbekistan. Led by captain Bhumika Shukla and vice-captain Tanushree Bhosale, the team has set a new benchmark for Indian women’s rugby. In the men’s category, India’s U20 team made history with their first-ever win over UAE, finishing sixth overall. This historic edition marked India’s first time hosting the championship, with the home team proudly standing on the podium.
