EPAM Pune recently conducted a Minute to Win it contest, which consisted of one-minute games that EPAMers competed in. Some of the EPAMers in Pune formed the Funskool team with an idea to organize monthly events to bring fun to the workplace. EPAM India hosted its first Business Agility Meetup on October 7, 2018 with the Business Agility Institute (BAI). Keeping up with the tradition, EPAMers in Pune celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by participating in an Ethnic day. EPAMers came dressed in traditional attire and participated in activities like games and dances. A ramp walk followed the event where participants gave a colorful display of traditional attire as they walked on the dais. EPAM India recently held a Java User Group meetup for all Java practitioners to learn industry best practices. The session was on Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) and their characteristics. EPAM India recently held a 36-hour hackathon around the topic ‘Code for a Cause’. Participants were given themes on Augmented Reality Collaboration, Gamification of learning and mentors were assigned to each theme to guide the participants. 38 EPAMers in 12 teams participated in the event and there was virtual collaboration among EPAMers based out of Hyderabad and Pune.
