Eaton in India celebrates the success of its flagship event - EnnovATiON 3.0. It aims to empower Eaton employees, exchange ideas with budding digitalization start-ups, identify talents through college connections, and learn from industry expert speakers. This year, a fantastic lineup of multifold events was planned by Eaton's Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence team, like - Hackathon, college connects, start-ups, functional connects, Ideathon, stakeholder visits, and quizzes. One of the highlights was the D-Talks session by Raghunath Mashelkar, Director General of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research). Under the ‘college connect’ competition, students from various colleges, namely VIT, VIIT, MIT, and COEP, were invited to solve the problem statements using Data Science.
This month, Eaton's global leaders - Craig Arnold-Chairman and CEO; Raja Macha-Chief Technology Officer, and Katrina Redmond-Chief Information Officer, visited India and personally engaged with the employees at multiple events. It was energizing to listen to our leaders about Digital technology focus and how our teams will contribute to future growth strategies.
Yet another wellness initiative @EPQPL. As a part of "World Diabetes Day - November 14", the below employee engagement programs happened at our entity: Arranged screening for diabetes using glucometer for our employees with help of our factory medical officer & 100+ employees involved themselves in screening! Awareness Video circulated/shared for all employees on Diabetes. Online quiz (90+ employees participated)
Eaton-Coimbatore Plant, Female employees participated in the Marathon (exclusively for Women) conducted by PSG Hospitals to raise awareness about heart health. Around 950 females participated in this Heartathon on 25th Sep'22. We proud to share, one of our employee Mrs. Selvakumari won 3rd prize under 3 km category. She received this award from Mrs. Vanitha Mohan, Chairman of Pricol Ltd.
We as a Chennai team had our Engineer's Day celebration. Had thoughts from leaders on what Engineering is about, who was Engineer and so on. In-between conducted some fun filled games to explain about concentration, creativity which makes the people engage themselves. Wishing you all Happy Engineers day!!
Eaton Aerospace Bangalore, India as a part of the Community Support initiative and Green Initiative has completed planting 230 Trees in 4 Government Aided Schools in and around the Factory location. Students were made aware about the importance of Environment and Greenery. This initiative was done by involving all Employees of EIPPL Bangalore.
