44 volunteers. Nearly 100 hours. Eight months of storytelling that became something deeper. Our #SourceOfGood champions in Mumbai partnered with Bookwallah to hold monthly storytelling sessions at St. Francis Boarding School, creating small, steady spaces where imagination and reflection could grow. Every month, our volunteers came with a new story. What began as reading turned into conversation: children asked questions, related characters to their lives, and opened up about courage, kindness, resilience, and emotions. Volunteers then sat in small circles, listening and encouraging, and over time, those circles became safe spaces for trust, confidence, and connection. Seeing the same faces month after month transformed storytelling into a shared journey of learning and belonging.
