Tarik Aboussir, VP – Operations, has been a part of Firstsource for over 20 years, beginning his career as an associate, fresh out of college and progressing through the ranks to lead large operations teams. Firstsource is partnering with Laddrr on their mission to step up the careers of 10 million moms, by reimagining the landscape for working women and closing the gender opportunity gap. #GrowthAtFirstsource Vipin V K, Director – Software, has been a part of Firstsource for over 17 years. He began his career at Firstsource as a software developer, fresh out of college, and has since risen through the ranks to lead a team of 15 + people, responsible for designing, developing and implementing various digital collections applications. He has worked with global clients including major card providers in the US, leading private banks in India, clinical companies in the UK and various hospitals in the US Healthcare sector.
Firstsource Hyderabad celebrated PRIDE month with pomp and splendor packed with quizzes, photo-ops and a glorious Pride Parade. The celebration was held to emphasize the importance of allies in ensuring that our LGBTQIA+ colleagues thrive in an intentionally inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where they can be their whole and authentic selves at work.

Shalini Saraswathi began her career with Firstsource in 2007. She had been working in Operations for 5 years when she experienced a life-changing incident in 2012. “Only when you experience disability or someone close to you does, do you realize the impact it has on your life”, she reflects. Armed with renewed strength and with the support of her colleagues, Shalini rejoined Firstsource in 2014. She credits her team leaders and managers for not only ensuring a smooth move back to work, but also encouraging her and giving her the flexibility to continue her commitment to running.

FirstGames is an initiative that aims to gamify all internal assessments through online simulations, role-plays and scenario-based learning. With such initiatives, we are preparing our people to perform to the best of their abilities while having fun at work.
Our three-week-long ‘Global Wellness Experience’ program had Firstsourcers engaging in a series of well-being initiatives. They actively participated in sessions ranging from healthcare & wellness trends, self-care and stress busting tips to inculcating healthy eating habits and bringing mindfulness into our daily lives.
