In order to boost the well-being of all Mphasians and to provide support and encouragement for those of us who struggle with mental health, Mphasis has employee well-being programs through a collection of initiatives within an organization to promote healthy lifestyles among employees.
Mphasis has adopted an employee engagement tool, which goes beyond just collecting feedback. Your Voice Pulse gives managers a comprehensive outlook of their team’s emotional engagement at work, and they get a fully integrated, intelligent listening platform that helps them tune to the voice of the employees and put insights to work.
As a part of our DEI initiatives, we have introduced a unique forum for working mothers, a place for them to connect with each other, offer support, exchange ideas and more. They can participate in discussions, solve challenges, and find solutions to address work-life balance, mental wellness, and positive parenting. One of the ways we do this is through our sustainable water management initiatives, which resonate with the current theme of World Water Week 2022; recognizing the value of water. In order to boost the health and wellness of all Mphasians, in a time when access to quality healthcare is more vital than ever, we have made a Practo Plus Membership with family coverage available to all employees at no cost. Through this membership, they can avail several healthcare related benefits, including video consultations across specialties, discounts on pharmaceuticals, lab tests and more.
In 2022, we have taken some great strides towards our DEI agenda, and here are our highlights! • We increased the gender ratio (M:F) from 70:30 to 65:35! • We introduced 52 gender neutral restrooms across offshore and onsite facilities. • We conducted sessions and webinars to create awareness around key topics of DEI to foster equity and inclusion. • We have an Anti-Discrimination Policy that recognizes our employees as our greatest strengths. The purpose of this policy is to establish and secure the right of all employees to work in a professional atmosphere that promotes equal employment opportunities and prohibits unlawful discriminatory practices.
Our recently launched reward and recognition tool Accolade serves to celebrate daily wins and team triumphs for all Mphasians. It is a cloud-based recognition tool, in partnership with Thanks, and it allows us to build a culture of recognition and helps us reinforce and reward the amazing work done by our brilliant team members! Through Accolade, our employees can give their thanks and nominate individuals, celebrate friendships and contributions, and it is a tool that unites our people and brings them together around a common cause; to celebrate with the whole team and company-wide event awards!
At Mphasis, we always strive to exhibit and reinforce our commitment to not just our clients and partners, and employees but also to our environment. We plan strategically to be a conscious corporate citizen, and in this journey, our endeavors towards sustainability have moved us up to the 69th percentile (YoY) in the S&P Global’s Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). We’ve done so by showing major improvements across codes of business conduct, privacy protection practices, board diversity and identification of potential and emerging risks.
The Sony Corporate Photography Contest 2022 saw many Mphasians participating and submitting their unique photographs for their creative vision to be evaluated, just in time for World Photography Day. We are glad to announce that 91 participants from Mphasis made it to the top 1500 and had the honor of their photographs being displayed in the Art Gallery. Our heartiest congratulations to the winners!
