Very quick to layoffs. At the end of the day you are just a number to them and when business is down, they will ship you off and never think twice about it. After working for 5 years there I got let go without any heads up, It was rough

Toxic male dominated culture. Doesn't matter how hard you work or if people like working with you, there are massive layoffs end of year without a care. Older or younger, the knowledge or energy you bring doesn't matter.

In IT you are treated as just a number. There is a revolving cycle of RIFs (layoffs). It used to be only once a year around August before the next fiscal year, but for the last 2-3 years there have been cuts multiple times a year. The next round is in the planning phase before the current round of cuts are complete. There is a focus in IT on cutting as much of the US Workforce as possible. Compensation is not competitive with similar positions in the area.

New leadership is old fashioned, not permitting remote work. Annual layoffs usually removing older team members.
