Aligned with the global theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, the activities were held at our Chennai office and Mambakkam Government School. As part of our outreach and education initiatives, our Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) team in Hyderabad recently partnered with Skill Shark Eductech to organize an engaging Innovation Day activity for the youth from Birla Open Minds International School. This dynamic event aimed to introduce students from grades 8 to 12 to the captivating world of Mechatronics by igniting curiosity and fostering early interest in #STEM fields. From the program, 12 bright aspirants found their platform to present innovative projects and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies like drones, sensors, HVAC, and more. The industry-academia connect also offered them valuable insights on real-world tech applications, personal finance, mental wellbeing, and beneficial industry networking. In a resourceful display of novel perspectives and technical know-how, the students pitched a series of impactful POCs that were evaluated by our AIE team, with Disaster Response Drone, Mental Health Monitoring Robot, and AI-Powered Time Companion App emerging as the top 3 winning solutions.
