In celebration of the company’s 25th anniversary, a commemorative event was held on October 19, 2022, in Trivandrum, India, the city of IBS Software’s inception. The event, presided over by Founder and Chairman V K Mathews, was organised as a mark of gratitude to the state of Kerala and its people, for all the support provided since its creation. Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan, was the guest of honour at the function attended by government officials, industrialists, esteemed customers, alumni and employees. Chief Minister Shri. Vijayan launched the Candle Centre of Excellence*, an IBS Foundation initiative by lighting the auspicious lamp. Dignitaries included Mukesh Mehta, Sr Managing Director at Blackstone Group; Armin Meier, Managing Partner at Boyden, Switzerland, and Independent Director on the board of IBS; Dr. Jochen Göttelmann, CIO of Lufthansa Cargo, a customer of IBS since 2012. The event ended with Anand Krishnan, CEO of IBS Software, delivering the concluding remarks, followed by a networking lunch. *Candle is an acronym of 'Care and Love'

Dr Wise has 15 years' experience as Chief Information Officer (CIO) having served with Delta Air Lines, where she was responsible for the renewal of Delta’s complex and critical technology systems, and previously as CIO of Northwest Airlines.
